Research Interests: Currently my primary research interest is in adapting spatial weighting techniques with psychological data. Spatial weighting techniques have traditionally been applied to econometric and geographic settings, however, recently there have been applications utilizing spatial weighting for dealing with independence violations in behavioral data. My current work aims to incorporate spatial weighting with latent variable techniques like Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). I also have interests in Bayesian estimation related to traditional modeling and aim to include Bayesian estimators with spatially weighted modeling techniques. Finally, I have interests related to R programming and spend some time working with package creation, data mining, web based data acquisition, and parallel programming.
